Emer Collects Sensory Communication Board from Lyndsey Walsh of Raising Rareness

At Juniors for Juniors, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. And there are few moments more heartening than when two organisations, both rooted in compassion and purpose, come together to make a real difference.

Our very own Emer Kelly had the pleasure of meeting Lyndsey Walsh from Raising Rareness to collect a Sensory Communication Board, a powerful and inclusive tool designed to help children who are non-verbal or have limited communication skills express themselves more easily.

The board is thoughtfully designed, with visual aids and symbols that offer children a means of expression that doesn’t rely on speech, a small item with a huge impact.

Lyndsey’s incredible work through Raising Rareness continues to highlight the importance of awareness, empathy, and tangible solutions for families across the country. The donation of this communication board will support Juniors for Juniors in one of our core aims: empowering every child to be heard and understood, no matter how they communicate.

A heartfelt thank you to Lyndsey and Raising Rareness.
