Juniors for Juniors Supports the Opening of the New Children’s Outpatients Centre at University Hospital Waterford
At Juniors for Juniors, we are thrilled to have been part of something truly special event: the opening of the New Children’s Outpatients Centre at University Hospital Waterford (UHW). This new facility is set to transform the healthcare experience for young patients, providing them with a comfortable, welcoming environment during their visits.
One of the most visible contributions Juniors for Juniors made was the installation of beautiful, child-friendly wall murals throughout the new centre. These murals transform the space, turning sterile walls into engaging, imaginative scenes that inspire wonder and calm. From colourful characters to scenes of adventure, these murals are designed to capture the imagination of young visitors, offering a sense of comfort in what might otherwise be a daunting setting.
In addition we provided toys that offer a distraction and a chance for children to relax and play while waiting. Bravery certificates for children who show great courage during their visit. These certificates recognize their bravery and help to build confidence, making the experience a little more positive.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped make this possible!
